LIBRARY RULES

  • Books will not be issued without the library card. All books should be returned before the beginning of each exam. Failure to do so will debar the student from appearing in the exam.
  • Books will be issued and got returned every day.
  • Reference and fiction books are issued for a week.
  • If a book is subjected to any damage or if any pages are found missing, the borrower will be held responsible and shall have to replace the book. The students are advised to check the book before borrowing them and if they discover any sort of damage, it should immediately be reported to the librarian.
  • If a book is lost, the borrower shall have to replace it or pay a heavy fine. It is at the discretion of the principal to take action against a student for misusing the library or breaking the rules.
  • Each member of the library shall be entitled of borrow one book at a time.
  • A fine of Rs. 5.00 will be charged for due books and the cards confiscated for one week.
  • A fine of Rs. 100.00 will be charged if the card is lost or damage.
  • Books are issued to the borrower and should not be lent to anyone else.

LABORATORY RULES

  • The school has well-equipped laboratories to carry out experimental work in various sciences. The following rules are to be followed in the laboratories.
  • Equipment for use in Laboratories will be issued to students as per rules laid down by the science teachers.
  • No equipment is to be taken out of the laboratories without written permission.
  • Any damage of the equipment during practical lesions will be borne by the students.
  • Any item issued from the laboratories must be returned before the annual Examination and a no dues certificate obtained from the science teachers should be submitted to the class teacher to allow the student to appear in their Annual Examination.

Student should have identity card in their possession at all times when they come to school or go elsewhere in school uniform to represent the college.

FEE SCHEDULE

  • Fee must be paid at the prescribed dates.
  • Fee is charged in instalments as given in fee card.
  • Fee can also be paid with a late payment.
  • If a child is withdrawn in the mid-session, minimum six month fee will be charged.
  • No exemption or deduction in fee will not be made for holidays or for the absence.
  • The student will not be allowed to appear for the examination and report card will not be shown unless all the dues have been cleared.
  • It is compulsory to bring the fee card at the time of depositing the fee.
  • Fee deposited once is non-refundable.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

  • Bus fee will be charged area wise decided by the school from time to time.
  • No concession will be given in Bus fees. Bus Fees will be payable for 12 month in a year. Once availing the facility of conveyance, one cannot leave it. To withdraw the child from the Bus, at least three months prior notice in writing must be given to the principal.
  • In case the School Bus does not reach in time due to mechanical breakdown or due to the illness of the driver, the guardians are requested to make their own arrangement. However, the school will do its best to provide alternative services.

  • The management contributes help and donation to those unfortunates who are victims of natural disasters.
  • The students are made aware of value of different natural means by providing many practical activities.
  • The needy, helpless and orphanages are provided cloths. Books and other necessary things by the students and managements.
  • The student visit historical buildings from time to time to be aware of wonderful creations.

CLASS ROOMS

  • We say that class rooms of SRI SAI INTER COLLEGE are well furnished and ventilated where strength of each class room is maximum 45 students and area of class rooms is 600sq. feet for the good manner of teaching large white boards and markers are always used. Therefore, writing and learning well cleared on the board and each student clearly consider the matter of subject.
  • For the regular electric supply, silent generator is used in the absence of electric supply.

CLASS ROOMS

ATTENDANCE

  • Regular attendance is an important condition for a good performance. a prior written application for leave must be submitted well in advance.
  • 80% attendance is compulsory for the child to be eligible for appearing in the exams.
  • The name of the student who remains absent for 10 days without information shall be struck off the roll. For Re-admission, re- admission fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged.
  • Every student must be present on the reopening day after each vacation.
  • No student will be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours.
  • All requests regarding absence or late-coming should be made in the school diaries and not on the separate sheets of paper.

ATTENDANCE

CLASS WORK AND HOME WORK

Class work included oral and written work. Class tests are conducted on regular intervals and are taken in to consideration for the promotion to the next class. Home work in all the subjects is given every day in all the classes. Guardians are requested to see whether the child completes the home work regularly and must sign the home work dairy every day.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

  • Passing marks in each subject is 40% (class VI on words).
  • Grades are given up to class V based on a child's performance.
  • Decision regarding promotion will be based on the overall performance of the child throughout the year and in the assessments.
  • In any case, medical certificate is not a guarantee for promotion to the next class. If students fail to appear in a part or whole of the examination, he should secure the required mark in the other examinations held during the year.
  • The decision of the principal regarding promotion is final.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT AND SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT

Examination in each academic session will be held as follows:
July : Formative assessment
October : Ist summative assessment
December : Formative assessment
February : IInd summative assessment

  • Marks Obtained in the tests will be included in the Grand total of the assessment.
  • A student absent in any test/examination will not be re-examined.
  • Student using unfair means in the formative and summative assessment.

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT AND SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT

PROGRESS REPORT

  • The children progress report is shown/given to the guardians during the parent’s teacher meetings usually held on second Saturday or any other fixed date after every Formative assessment and summative assessment.
  • Parents are requested to collect the monthly progress report of their ward on the dates referred to the report card after being signed by the parents must be returned to the class teacher within three days. It will be given finally after Annual examination report.

PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

  • To bring about co-ordination between the parent and teachers, regular parent’s teacher meetings are organized. Orientation programmers are also organized to bring harmony between the parents and teachers. Parents are requested to attend the parent’s teacher meeting regularly to keep themselves aware of their ward's progress.
  • Parents are requested to check their ward's School dairy every day and ensure that the work assigned is duly completed. Remark made in the diaries should also be acknowledged and countersigned regularly.
  • Parents should take proper note of all the circulars and information sent to them from time to time.
  • Parents are requested to participate actively & regularly in all the school activities.
  • No sick child should be sent to school with the medicines to be taken during school hours.
  • Parents are requested to inform the school in case there is any change in their address or phone number.
  • All applications must be signed by the parents.
  • Parents are requested to acquaint themselves fully with the school rules and abide by them. They are further requested to maintain a cordial behaviour with the staff.
  • A student may be rusticated if desired cooperation is not extended by the parents.
  • The parents/guardians should comply with rule and regulations lay by the school and co-operate with the school for the welfare of their children.
  • Every child is to follow all disciplinary rules of the institution to maintain the school decorum.
  • Student must be punctual in reaching school. They should attend the morning assembly. Late corners will not be allowed to enter the class without the principal's permission.
  • Students without proper uniform will not be allowed to enter the class.
  • Wearing of jewellery is forbidden.
  • Nails should be trimmed.
  • The school does not take any responsibility for the loss of books, watches, money and so on. Each child is responsible for his/her own belongings.
  • The child will not be allowed to leave the school on any condition during school hours.
  • Parents and other persons are not allowed to see their children or teachers during school hours without permission of the principal.
  • The principal is liable to rusticate the student whose conduct is not good.
  • When the assembly is over, student shall go their classes in an orderly manner.
  • By maintaining decorum and orderliness while leaving the school, the students should ensure smooth exit for themselves. Proper discipline must be maintained throughout the school hours.
  • Each child is required to contribute to the high standard of the school by his/her conduct, disciplines, manner and commitment to studies and other school activities.
  • Student using their own conveyance are required to follow traffic rules for their own safety. Students are not allowed to ride two wheelers without a proper driving license.
  • For such riders, principal's prior permission is necessary.
  • Students are expected to take part in games, sport, debates art competition, college competition, on the spot essay competition, G.K. Quiz, elocution contest, writing competition, Flower show,
  • Science & Craft Exhibition, outdoor activities and competitions in extracurricular activities organized by the school from time to time.

PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

  • Student may be transferred from one branch to another on request.(depending on the seats vacant)
  • Parents should submit an application addressed to the principal with all the details.

Each Student has arranged for three sets of uniform which should be cleaned and pressed properly. Shoes should be polished regularly.

CONCLUSION

The Managing Body of the school reserve the right to add/amend/waive off any of the rules contained in the Prospectus without assigning any reason thereof.

The interpretation of any of the rules as contained in the prospectus rests solely and entirely with the Managing Body of the school. Its interpretation shall be final and binding on parents/guardians and students of this institution.
